Kent Whitaker is co-director of Bigger Picture Ministries. His personal story of the murders of his wife and son, and the forgiveness he extends to his other son who orchestrated the shootings, has encouraged people all over the world. He speaks on forgiveness, healing and hope to churches, writers’ conferences, professional groups and seminars across America. Kent’s book, Murder By Family is a New York Times Best Seller, and he has had the privilege of sharing his story on Oprah, 20/20, and 48 Hours Mystery.

Tanya Youngling Whitaker is co-director and founder of Bigger Picture Ministries. Over the years she has been involved in teaching and mentoring through Young Life, Campus Crusade, Precept Ministries, MOPS, and numerous Bible Studies, small groups, and retreats. It has been her privilege to serve as women’s teaching leader for churches in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Louisiana, Colorado, and Las Vegas. In addition, she has created with Linda Davis of Soar Higher several Workshops and retreats on mentoring and the power of story as a grid for looking at our lives.
